Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I made these fried wontons today from a 1:1 combination of ground pork and shrimp. I was thinking of @JOConnell's question about replacing the shrimp and that led me to do the combination. So I used used about 4 oz (120 g) ground pork with 6 oz (180 g) of shell-on shrimp that I peeled and deveined. As for the seasonings, I doubled everything in the shrimp wonton filling. The rest, along with the sweet and sour sauce is the same in the fried shrimp wonton recipe. Wonton Wednesday is a great way for getting through or celebrating hump day. Something fizzy or bubbly is nice with them!
