Project Description

Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used modeling chocolate to make a collar which I wrapped around the cake. I coated my cake with blue ganache and then rolled out a strip of modeling chocolate and then cut out stars before lifting it up and placing it around my cake.

Queeva Huang asked:
Do you mind to share the ganache recipe you use?Thx
Katriens Cakes answered:
Hi Queeva, I used 3 1/2 parts white baking chocolate to 1 part cream eg. 437 g (15 1/2 oz) white chocolate to 125 ml (1/2 cup/ 4 1/2 fl oz) cream. I microwave the choc and cream together on defrost until the chocolate is melted and then I stir it together and leave it to set. You can add the food colouring before or after heating the chocolate and cream.
