Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake base ( table was a chocolate cake , teapot and tea cup was vanilla sponge ) all decorations edible . table cloth made by sugar paste , saucer and teaspoon by gumpaste . What are you most proud of? colours and quality of the finishing What advice would you give someone starting this project? allow enough time for the saucer and teapot handle to dry to get a nice shape

thank you i started by baking a very tall ( 6,5" ) round cake ( 6" in diameter) and i carved the cake to get the right shape than i've covered all in sugarpaste . between the layers of the cake i used buttercream , then i've made the handle ,spout,lid and knob by sugar paste and when they 've become dry i 've stucked them on the cake ,then i started to decorated

This is exquisite work! Is there a trick to prevent handles and spout from sliding off the cake?

not really, you need to dry them beforehand they'll be much lighter and you'll be able to glue them onto the cake
