Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake The bottom tier is a 12" very very heavy dense fruit cake. The fruit was soaked in a bottle of brandy for 2 months. It was baked, covered in marzipan and finally fondant and decorated with fondant and Royal Icing. The top tier is a 3 layer marble chocolate and vanilla cake. With white chocolate ganache and milk chocolate ganache layers. Then covered in ganache and fondant and decorated with fontant. The little train is made from gumpaste. The 'smoke' is attached via a wire.
