What are you most proud of? The cake didn't fall over, but it was close. I tried to use a wooden dowel pushed through a cake board and secured with hot glue. I ran into problems with the cake leaning too much, but once it was coated in Mike's buttercream and that set, the problem resolved itself. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay really close attention to the structure of the cake before you begin and do not dismiss the idea of using templates to help bring your vision to life.
