Q&A with Gina Simpson

Belinda Schatz asked:
Great Job!!!! What a cute idea for a wedding cake. How did you do the lining in the suit case lid? Wow now I'm thinking maybe I should take this class too!!!
Gina Simpson answered:
Thanks so much Belinda! I haven't watched the whole class yet but I can't wait to finish it. Lauren does 3 cakes and I've only watched the suitcase part so far. The lining is just a piece of scrapbooking paper glued to the foam board support in the lid. Lauren goes through the structure and how to cover it with paper and modeling chocolate. I really enjoy how Lauren teaches. Very down to earth, explains things very well. I would highly recommend this course!
Belinda Schatz asked:
Thanks for replying. I had it in my cart on a sale price but didn't finish it then it went back to full price Opps won't do that again.
Gina Simpson answered:
Hi Belinda, In case you haven't signed up for yet it, here's a link to Lauren's website. She has links out there for 50% off all three of her classes. I've only ever signed up for cake classes but I find if I google the instructor and go to their personal websites, most of them have links to 50% off their Craftsy classes.
