What was your source for this recipe? Improvisational Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Made for a fund raiser competition for MS. Four tiers, buttercream with Satin Ice over buttercream. Alternating orange and green ribbon around bottom of each tier. Cake is set on a square cake drum covered in Satin Ice fondant with impression mat used on it. Board was finished off with ribbon around the edges. Decorations were all hand cut tiles in different variation of squares and rectangles. They were all cut out of white Satin Ice fondant and then dusted with petal and luster dusts. They were dusted dry. The cake topper is all individual pieces cut in varying sizes of triangles. They were made out of Satin Ice gumpaste, allowed to dry for 2-3 days and then also dusted. To attach I made small slits in the top tier of the cake that the shards of gum paste could fit in. The little footsteps were made with black fondant and applied to resemble the walk MS fund raiser. I got my inspiration from the MS website.
