Safari Cake (for baby shower)

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Gum paste, fondant, buttercream, gel, pretzels What are you most proud of? Considering that this was my first layered fondant cake and 1st time making animals, etc. I am most proud that it actually came out looking nice. I got tons of compliments and many people asking me it was the best cake they ever saw and thought that I had been doing this for a very long time. What advice would you give someone starting this project? To give them selves lots of time to get the animals done. I used only gumpast for most of them, now I would use rice krispie treat to shape the animals and cover them in gum paste. Remember that they take a few days to dry. Also to make sure you bring lots of extra supplies when you deliver your cake so that you can fix any problems that may come up in transport.
