No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Used the cake recipe from Baking Basics, the chocolate filling from that class too, and the buttercream directions from the Buttercream class. I made the cake layers two flavors; yellow and orange. I didn't use the frosting comb on the sides and put blue glitter on instead of sprinkles (I didn't have either). I also wasn't happy with the top edge, so I added a border there. This cake is 9" in diameter. The purple shades should have contrasted more. What are you most proud of? Overall, it's a nice cake. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definitely use a turntable. Helps a lot. Have several frosting bags, and several couplers in both regular and large for the M1 tip to avoid having to change out the coupler when switching to another color.
