What advice would you give someone starting this project? Handle the modeling chocolate as little as possible to keep it from getting too warm. Be patient when smoothing wrinkles, they will come out if you work with it. I painted the melted chips onto the cake and then smoothed it out with an offset knife. I warmed the knife in very hot water and dried it before smoothing.
