Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Cake, fondant, edible markers What are you most proud of? I simply stacked three layers of cake, iced, rolled and cut the stripes of red & white fondant after I slowly piped a TON of little popcorn kernals using my leaf piping tip # 69 (I think). Pretty much just blobs with a little twist & curl until I liked the shape. I left those to harden up while attaching the stripes and label. When all of the other details had been applied, I started to stack the popcorn on and around to get the look just right. It was really fun! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it!! Play with all the tips until you find the right one...I went through 6 or 7 until I decided to use the leaf one - it's all trial and error!
