No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used a regular rectangle cake pan to bake two layers that I filled with peach and apple jelly. I then applied the green fondant to the top, the 'wood' fondant to the sides, and used a star tip to pipe the remainder. All the balls, rack and black holes were cut from fondant, and the sticks were shaped from fondant. I wanted to share this because I am a beginner cake decorator, and in my haste I 'thought' that I could put the 'sticks' in the oven to dry. That was a huge mistake. They lost their shape, flattened, broke in spots, and I didn't have time to do more, or repair these so the cake had to go to the birthday party as it was. Don't make the same mistake I did! If you have a piece made from fondant to go on your cake allow enough time for it to dry overnight in the air rather than trying to heat dry it!!!
