raniafayedg asked:
Really beautiful, for the ruffles did u role the fondant first or how does it work, can I use a real brooch and real ribbon if the cake was covered with buttercream? How do u stick them to cake? Thank
lisascakes answered:
Hi, yes - you roll the fondant out to a thin thickness before cutting. Yes, you can use real ribbon and real brooches with butercream cakes. I get my cake cold - by setting in the fridge (not freezer) to get the buttercream hard - then put the ribbon around the cake and attach with a dot of buttercream. The brooch, I attached with buttercream as well. Thanks for looking! Lisa
