Pink Princess Cake

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used 10 and 8 inch round cake pans. I use a lot of Wilton Products because I teach Wilton Cake Classes and they are the best! I used a square cake board to put the cakes on. I used alot of different cutters and fondant and gum paste to do the different items. What are you most proud of? Probably the shoe and the crown. The shoe wasn't too hard, but the crowns can be. I have heard that you should make two crowns, just in case one breaks. I was risky and made one and it never broke. :) What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you haven't worked with fondant and gum paste before, than you might want to get some experience before try this cake. You could also do a trial run before doing this for a customer. Let me know if you have any questions! areinsbach.blogspot.com or AJ's Cakes on FB. :)
