Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Fondant, petal dust, LOVE! What are you most proud of? That I accomplished my FIRST tiered cake, fondant cake and artistic project without a class or an assistant....though I would LOVE to get more training, I pride my first baking artistic project! The bottom layer was carrot cake w/ cheesecake & apricot pineapple filling. The middle was chocolate w/nutella, and the top was a sweet vanilla shortcake with a fresh raspberries, strawberries and blackberries glaze. I love peacocks, Nick loves dragons, and Victoria loves Vampires (hence the red ruby drops).. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make fondant decorations before hand...let them dry between parchment paper. Use silica gel bags to keep dry. Find a really GOOD series on Netflix and set aside a weekend! :) LOVE the project, DREAM the project...BE the project! Then watch God's appreciation to your devotion work through your hands!
