Pictured on top is a toad and lettuce leafs made of modeling chocolate which was brushed with an edible silver glaze to mimic pewter. Silicone molds were used for these shapes. The cake itself was not covered with any icing, this is a newer trend in cakes which are called "nude" because of no icing on the outside, thus the title of this cake: Nude Toad.
