Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake fondant covered blue velvet, golden yellow and white almond sour cream cake with gumpaste flowers. What are you most proud of? Although the flowers do not show up well, I was very happy with how the roses turned out. Many thought they were real flowers. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start on a practice cake; I found it difficult to line up the pleats on each layer.
