Project

My husbands life on film - Happy 50th

Project Description

Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Film reel top & bottom made few days before assembling to harden. Photos uploaded to a brilliant website that made edible film reel, delivered on 2 sheets of a4 edible paper, just needed a scalpel to do the fine cutting. Clapperboard made out of modelling paste (piping not my strong point!). All in all absolutely delighted with the finished result and actually quite emotional building it when started putting baby/early years film strips on.

What you will need

  • Buttercream
  • Fondant
