Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used tappits for the musical notes and some of the instruments. Other instruments I used a chocolate mould to shape fondant then dusted them all with gold and black lustre dusts. I covered the board with a vintage theme printed paper from a craft shop, and found some other musical theme bows/flowers online. I printed it onto card and stuck on the board, then used the bows and flowers idea to make some fondant decorations for the cake. This cake was for my music-loving grand daughter's 8th birthday. What are you most proud of? I like to plan my cake designs well in advance and this was something of a last-minute change in theme, so I am happy that I was able to come up with something that worked! What advice would you give someone starting this project? I made plenty of spare notes and instruments and was glad I did as quite a few broke!
