I am proud of the topper (mask and # 16) It was the frist time I used the tec. of placing gumpast or fondant directly on an item to make it, using the item as a mold. What advice would you give someone starting this project? You have to have patients, and you must love working with molds and gumpaste/fondant. My advise is that if you are going to make things out of gumpaste/fondant give yourself time. Make the items at least one to two weeks ahead of time. Put them in containers where they will not break or get dirty. Picture in you mind or stecht the idea on paper. I does not have to be perfect, just enough so you can see clearly what you are aiming for. I had lost of fun doing this cake.
