I'm glad that I took the modern piping class. It gave me a little more confidence to branch out from doing small cake decor like basic piping with buttercream to being a little more relaxed with decorating and being free with my creative/artsy side and combining it with cake decorating. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I forgot to add more sugar once I added the purple gel color to the royal icing. I would definitely say add more sugar as instructed to that the royal isn't loose.
