The square cake is a light fruit cake covered with marzipan and sugar paste. The round cake is a Madeira sponge cut into three layers and filled with buttercream and jam, covered with sugarpaste. Decorations are hand made with flower paste, dusted with kiwi green and finished with snowflake lustre. What are you most proud of? The way that by keeping the colour scheme simple it gives such a stunning effect. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a small gauge wire for the flowers as when you tie them together the wires combined can become too thick and ruin the delicacy of the spray
