I learned how to color the beads and apply them to a fondant cake as well as build a structurally sound cake from Marina's class, "Jeweled Wedding Cake." The beads and color dust was purchased online from Chef Rubber's online store. I used the #4, 6 and 8 sized sugar pearls and colored them with Decor Powder (Antique Gold) and Flashy Sparkles (Light Gold). Confectioner's Glaze, and Confectioner's Glaze Thinner, as instructed in Marina's class, was perfect to adhere the color to the beads. I discovered Sugar Delite's online store during this project, and was able to purchase 8oz bottles of each at a much affordable price. Their customer service was fabulous as well. I glued the beads with royal icing which secured the beads nicely to the fondant.
