Q&A with heidi jan

triciaw7 asked:
i love this cake. beautiful! do you mind sharing how you got the flowers to attach to the floral wire? thanks
heidi jan answered:
I put a little ball of gum paste on the wire end then inserted the wire into the bottom of flower from the bottom up with out going through. I then set the flower a side and left it dry over night. The next day flowers were stiff and the flowers stayed on the wire. a few did let go with to much movement so I just used gum paste glue to soften the flower and restick to the wire. Hope that helps:-) And thanks for the great compliment:-)
