Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Chocolate cake, butter cream cake, icing, Pink, blue fondant, icing food color What are you most proud of? keeping my hand steady when writing Happy Birthday! haha...it still was a little wabbly ;o) What advice would you give someone starting this project? When using mutiple colors of fondant and you are not buying the premade colors, mix and tint the lighter colors first - don't start with the black or actually even the red because those two are the ones that will color your hands pretty well, and although you can wash your hand ten times in between colors, you don't want to take any chances on getting some off shade on you white or pale colored fondant - it not fun.
