Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This is Red Velvet, Dutch Chocolate & French Vanilla Cake.......with vanilla frosting and fondant icing. The Bow, Ribbons & Numbers were made ahead of time. What are you most proud of? This one was the most difficult cake to make so far..... I'm happy that it looked beautiful & the Birthday Girl was so happy with it ! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make the accesories ahead of time & make sure they dry to a hard consistancy. I used fondant, but afterwards I thought for the bow & ribbon, that possibly Gum Paste may have been a better choice. I live in an area that can be very humid, and fondant decorations do not harden as they should in the humidity.
