When people saw it and could not believe it was cake. They wanted to pick it up :) No one wanted to cut it! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan ahead because anything can happen while assembling the cake. I had fondant issues! The technique of applying fondant to a cold cake does not apply with homemade fondant. It slips an sweats. I had to make a new batch of fondant at 3:00 AM and cover it immediately because it had to be delivered the next morning
