Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake 5 tier vanilla wedding cake filled with raspberry pure and vanilla buttercream, covered in ivory rolled buttercream and decorated with handmade gum paste peonies and molded Corinthian leaves. Cake is finished with pearl and gold finishes What are you most proud of? The sheen on the gold petals was beautiful and I think the cake was perfect for the client's wedding. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start the petals about a month early. The leaves were made after the cake tiers were assembled and were made from rolled buttercream.
