Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This was my first time I used isomalt. It was fun but had trouble with the humid weather so I remelted it ,coated it with confectioners glaze and stored it correctly until right before it went on the cake. The fish and hook was gumpaste. The side was hand painted fondant. I also had a big problem with my refrigerator. When I went to take it out the next morning all the painting on the back of the cake had runned from too much moisture!!! It was heartbreaking I did not post a picture of that ugh. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Work in a climate controlled environment. Make sure you refrigerator is working right.
