Making my own fondant for the first time! This was Michele Foster's recipe and it tasted delicious. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This was my first time working with fondant (and making my own) so I had trouble working with the thinner frills and transferring them to the cake without sticking to my fingers and tearing them in the process. The frills therefore ended up a bit more plain, thick, less ruffled, and therefore "SAFE"... which unfortunately transfers to 'cute'. Has anyone used this fondant for frills with success? Thanks!
