Thank you for your kind comments. I used a Wilton 125, but you can use any size petal tip depending on the ruffle size you want. I think the original was Martha Stewart's idea and Sweetapolita had a great post on it (her's is beautiful!). You can also google ruffle cakes to find youtube tutorials. A good suggestion is to lightly mark the crumbcoat with a ruler or scraper so that the rows are straight and evenly spaced. Good luck :).
