No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This was my first time making sugar flowers and first time covering a cake with fondant. I made a lot of mistakes but learned a lot during the process. I made filler flowers from Jackie's Crafty class and the ranunculus where made from her tutorial which I purchased separately. The cake was for my daughter's 23rd birthday. She has celiac so the cake is gluten free. It's vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache frosting. I covered the cake with marshmallow fondant in pink. I tried to give the cake a quilted look but had a hard time lining up the diamonds. I really enjoyed making the flowers.
