Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This is made with 4 vanilla cakes of various sizes, buttercream and fondant What are you most proud of? I am proud it stayed upright! The larger toadstool is a 5" layer cake. For the top I used a Wilton ball pan, just one half. Securing with food sticks. The middle toadstool is also a small cake and the tiny one just fondant. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make your fairies in advance. Once the cake is constructed and you place your fairies, you can go to town with flowers etc...don't forget the glitter...it is fairyland after all!
