No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake After I learned how to pipe miniature roses out of royal icing, I piped some roses, decorated a big cake with them, and used left-over roses for these cakes. Adding roses makes my cakes look much better, I think. What are you most proud of? I used angel cakes for this project to keep the total calories low. Using an egg shaped mold helps me keep the soft texture of the cakes. Flat pans would not give enough height to the cakes, and thus, are not appropriate.
