Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake stencils, buttercream frosting What are you most proud of? The class was working with a fondant cake and royal icing. The problem was that I needed to work with a buttercream cake!!! Yikes again!!! I wrote to Josh not really expecting that he would write back and asked if the technique would work on a bc cake. To my surprise, he wrote back and said that that I should use bc also. I'm proud of the fact that it was risky... but I went ahead and purchased the video. Thanks to Josh I pulled it off and I loved the finished cake. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try it!! I tried the technique on the middle layer first and ruined it. The bc was too tick. I had to start all over. Just try it, it works.
