Project

Colors of Park Güell

Do you sell this cake? Yes Name of website or online shop Custom Cakes Atelier Link to website or online shop www.customcakesatelier.com Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake In order to create the frills on this cake, I used the same techniques and materials that were suggested in this class. What are you most proud of? In general, I'm content with the overall look of the cake. The frills held up nicely through out. This cake was inspired by the tiles of a bench in Gaudi's Park Güell in Barcelona. This image was hand-painted all around the middle tier. The cake also showcases Dogwood Blossoms, which is the official state flower of North Carolina, where my atelier is located. The painted image has different sections of tile design, so I tried to show you images all around the cake for you to appreciate the overall composition. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan your project carefully before you start!
