Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This is a lemon cake filled with raspberry fruit filling and iced in lemon buttercream with fondant accent stripes and a fondant/gumpaste fantasy flower on top with the brides monogram in the center What are you most proud of? i LOVE how this turned out! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was a bit tricky getting the fondant stripes to be offset when setting them on the cake, but once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing. I believe my problem was I had to adjust the size of the stripes to accommodate a bigger cake and I was a 1/16" off all the way around, but it worked out great in the end!!
