I wondered about using the backfilling technique on fondant where I couldn't use modeling chocolate, such as on a fondant covered cake. You didn't find that the fondant was too soft? Any tips for backfilling on fondant?
It was soft, but it worked. I just hardened it in the freezer and had to work a little, then chill it, work a little then chill it, and so on. I sounds like it took forever, but not really :).
