Q&A with movita beaucoup

Hilary Marshall asked:
Beautiful, is that pumpkin hollow?? it is fantastic! Well done
movita beaucoup answered:
Thanks! And yes, the pumpkin is hollow!
xJuliax asked:
Love it!! How did you do the pumpkin carriage??
movita beaucoup answered:
Thanks! To make the carriage I formed gum paste around a ceramic form. It was tricky, but eventually it all came together!
kaitlyndo3598856 asked:
Wow that is amazing, how long did that take you?
movita beaucoup answered:
I puttered away at the pumpkin and rosettes for weeks. I wasn't it any hurry, as it was just for fun. (Netflix helped.) Assembling took the better part of a day, but only because I had to attach 800 rosettes!
Twostirs asked:
This is very beautiful. I had started a mardi gras cake dummy using the rosettes...yeah, I'm still working. LOL
movita beaucoup answered:
Right? They take forever! But so worth it...
Jamisa asked:
Do you provide instructions on how to make this?
movita beaucoup answered:
I'm working on a tutorial!
