I used a rolled Butter Cream Fondant, white and orange. I used candy molds for the butterflies. Some butterflies were made with gelatin with food coloring, and others made with molding chocolates in colors of pink, purple, blue, and red. What are you most proud of? That I delivered the cake safely. It must have weighed 25 lbs. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I did my butterflies a week before the event. I baked my cakes 3 day's before, and I made my fondant the day before the event and decorated the cake the day before the event.
