Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used an Allrecipe recipe for this cake and made two 9" rounds I added some vanilla extract and baked for 1hr15mins at 140c. I sandwiched them with strawberry jam and buttercream - I wished after that I'd used double the amount I did. Then applied a crumb coat of buttercream, chilled it for 20 mins the added marzipan (stuck with some heated apricot jam) then fondant icing (ready to roll) finished off with some fondant daisies cut with a cutter, a ribbon and some feather sprays and a bling 70 finished it off. What are you most proud of? This is my first go at this so I'm happy that it looks almost how I imagined it! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get the ready to roll fondant icing. Work quickly, it easily dries out. I used some buttercream or water to stick on the decoration. I think if I do another, I will ice the board too.
