No, just for fun Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake This was the very first cake that I covered by wrapped it in fondant vs. draping it in fondant. A bit challenging, but with Lindy's encouraging tutorial I pulled it off. I make an anniversary cake for my folks every year and wanted to do something different. This carved cake stood almost 8" tall with the top half in chocolate and the bottom in vanilla. Using a clay extruder was the perfect tool to make all the "bars" on this cake. I added some sugar flowers and butterfly as the final touches on this vintage birdcage cake. They loved it!
