I loved the upside down method, has totally changed my approach to crumb coating and fondant covering, I used to dread it, but now is one of my favourite parts of cake making. I am chasing the holy grail of totally sharp edges. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it, you won't regret it. Invest in a piece of clear acrylic sheet (mine is too big though, so ordered a 12 inch by 12 inch).
