Hi Teca, Sorry, didn't see your request until today. I use a simple Sugar Cookie recipe for the cookies - google this and you'll find many, I use either Peggy Porschen's recipe or there is an amazing website called The Adventures of Sweet Sugarbelle, she has lots of cool tips and recipes. Basically, make the dough, cut with desired cutters, refrigerate, bake the cookies. Once they are cooled you can decorate using Royal icing. The technique I use is called Flood icing where you use two different consistencies of royal icing to create the design. Again, check out the sugarbelle website, she has amazing instructions for all of this. Good luck!
