Next time I'll also use the crumb coat and fondant smoothing techniques to correct my uneven tiers and rough edges. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow everything step by step and refrigerate the cakes after torting and filling before flipping them upside down to crumb coat. Also don't use too much shortening on the wax paper.
