Meet your instructor, cake decorator Mary Maher, and jump right into creating your teapot cake! Make your initial cuts as you carve craft foam for your teapot base. Then stack and carve your teapot out of cake, no templates needed! Mary shows you how to freehand all of your carving and offers tips along the way, from safety tips and proper technique to cake and buttercream selection.

Mary Maher discovered her flair for cake during childhood and, along with her sister Brenda, began decorating professionally at age 15. Together, the pair have won episodes of Food Network Challenge and the "Best Cake Artist in America" competition on Last Cake Standing. After losing their cake shop to a fire in March 2010, Mary and Brenda started, an online cake decorating and party shop. Mary's love for both teaching and cake decorating shine through in her fun, easy-to-follow lessons.
