Craftsy’s Wedding Photography Contest: And the Winner Is…

WOW. That’s all we can say: WOW!! The Craftsy photo community has knocked our socks off with the beautiful, creative and touching images you’ve all submitted for Craftsy’s 2014 Wedding Photography Contest. Choosing a winner was not at an easy task, but our experts put their heads together and at last chose one that stood out among the array of incredible work.

The Winner of the 2014 Craftsy Wedding Photography Contest:

Bride in Traditional Indian Wedding Garment

Our winning photographer, Susom, is based in Bangladesh. “In my country, people put a lot of emphasis on wedding and it is celebrated royally,” says Susom. “I tried to capture the essence and flavor of our weddings in my photographs.” The result is an arguably elegant image.

Contest judge Ashley Poskin, Craftsy’s in-house photographer, noted “The color and composition is outstanding, awesome use of bokeh and gorgeous lighting, especially since this was photographed at night.”

Gorgeous work, Susom! We’ll be in contact soon regarding your $50 Amazon gift card.

Our Runners-Up

Thank you to every single photographer who submitted. Your images took our breath away! There are several stunning runners-up, and we hope that the entire photo community can find inspiration for their own work from these stellar creations.
