Share Your Passion for Crafting, Enter our Contest to Win BIG

Share Your Crafting Pride

Crafting is so much more than making stuff. For almost anyone who calls themselves a crafter, crafting is a passion. A crafter's relationship to their craft is no different than a chef's relationship to food, or a musician's to their instrument. Crafting allows you to explore and act on your visions and inspirations. Being a maker of things means you create things that are entirely unique. Perhaps you make them for yourself and rarely share them with others, or perhaps it's your business, and you're eager to show the entire world. Either way, that craft is an expression of you, and there's nothing like it anywhere. We know you love crafting as much as we do, and that's why we say: share your passion for crafting on Pinterest!

We're announcing a very exciting contest, that began this Monday, March 18, 2013, that will help you on your way: a Craftsy Pinterest Contest! You can enter now for a chance to win a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, $100 Amazon gift card, and five free Craftsy classes! Together we'll share our passion for crafting, and learn and create throughout the year, pushing and helping each other to new creative heights.

It's easy to enter. Just head here. Then select your favorite image! From quilting to knitting to sewing to jewelry making we have something for everyone. Then fill in the form and click enter to pin to any of your Pinterest boards. Be sure to enter before April 7, 2013.

We'll announce the winner on April 8, 2013. Happy crafting!

I can remember crafting early in my life with the potholders, then my mother taught me to crochet. Unfortunately somewhere I lost the bug in my teens but love it again. I love to create jewelry and now am learning to sew, quilt , weave and locker hook. I want to learn it all!!!

I love Craftsy and that vintage Kitchen Aid mixer is fantastic, but I don’t have a Pinterest Board.

I absolutely love Craftsy! I have learned so much, from crocheting, cake decorating, sewing, and quilting. I recommend Craftsy to anybody that will listen, lol. Thanks for the chance to win.

I am an avid knitter and crocheter. I have been crocheting since I was 14, and knitting only about 3 years, but these two passions (particularly knitting) have taken over my life! I live and dream of different things I can make and change patterns to fit my modifications and style. My family thinks I am crazy over yarn, and I guess I am!

I would love to have a machine like this! I love baking, especially my own bread but my hands are getting slightly arthritic and it hurts now to kneed the dough. I would love to win it. I “like” and “shared” this on Facebook.

I mentioned Craftsy so often at a quilt guild meeting last week, someone told me I should get a referral fee! I love the quilt classes.

I also just pinned to my Pinterest board and the image showed up perfectly, but no form to fill out. How do I know if I will be entered into the contest. I read the Craftsy newsletter regularly and have tried some of the free classes. Craftsy is a wonderful resource.

Oh how I would love to have this KitchenAid mixer. My very, very, very old sunbeam mixer finally gave out and so I bought another Sunbeam thinking it would be of the same quality… NOT! I wore that motor out just at Christmas time and had to run out to buy another mixer so I could finish the batch of cookies I was making as well as do the rest of my baking. You think I would have learned after the first new one broke down, right? Nope, not me! So what did I do? I bought another Sunbeam. That one is about to go, too. I should have bit the bullet and spent the much larger amount of money to buy a KitchenAid, but I guess I had to learn the hard way. So guess what… I’m saving up now for a KitchenAid mixer. LOL!! That’ll teach me!

I LOVE all of the many classes offered. What fun website….THANKS 🙂 🙂
