Chocolate Bomb

Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I was nervous to try this out, but needed something special for a birthday gift for a very special friend. Once I got started I just followed your directions and found it wasn't that hard after all, the only problem I had was with the ganash, I didn't get all the little lumps out but did not notice them until I'd already poured it over the cake, so it was a little "bumpy" but that didn't hurt the taste and everyone was amazed with it. Thanks for making me look like a star

Q&A with Bonnie from WA

Zoë François asked:
Wow, it is incredible! The decals are really fun, are they edible or do you peel them off? So glad you enjoyed making it and eating it! :) Zo
Bonnie from WA answered:
They are edible but didn't turn out quite the way I wanted, thought they background would melt into the cake, but didn't happen, guess they'd be better cookies or cupcakes
xtynita_s5572896 asked:
Looks delicious! I thought the bumps were part of the design! What did you use for a mold?
Bonnie from WA answered:
No the bumps were my mistake didn't get it smooth, the mold was a stainless steel bowl, thanks
