I first had a Chocolate Babka from Dean and Deluca in Kansas City so when I took the Artisan Bread class with Peter Rinehart I couldn't wait to try it. I planned to make it for holiday gifts. The dough is very rich and full of eggs and is rolled out in oil. His instructions were very precise and easy to follow. I'm very pleased with the outcome and I think it tastes as good as the one I had in Kansas City. What are you most proud of? Just finally doing this project. I was planning and dreaming about it for a long time. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the video, use good ingredients (I used Wheat Montana all purpose flour) and have fun.
